Media vs Truth

This posting contains additional information associated with the previous post, "Raptor or Guardian?", and documents the lies told by the mainstream media and the 9/11 Commission.

The Falcon Indian exercises were never reported in the mainstream news media. You don’t find a lot of information when you google them. Very few independent researchers have written about them. My blog now appears on page one of a google search for “Falcon Indian”.

Two mainstream news outlets did publish information on NORAD exercises.

CNN published a vague article on April 19, 2004, titled “NORAD Exercise Had Jet Crashing Into Building”
Very little details were revealed in the article, but it did quote military officials who emphasized that the exercise “involved an airliner being hijacked as it flew into U.S. airspace from abroad.”

USA Today published a similar article on April 18, 2004 titled “NORAD Had Drills of Jets as Weapons”. Little detail was offered in the article, but it stated that “the planes in the simulation were coming from a foreign country.”

NORAD officials were very consistent in insisting that their only purpose was to guard against planes coming into U.S. airspace from other countries. They obviously wanted the public to believe that they were still only watching out for Russian planes flying in from overseas. That was a legitimate concern for NORAD during the Cold War.

The fact is, their training before 9/11 included scenarios of planes taking off within the United States and being hijacked in the skies over the U.S. by terrorists.

In the Falcon Indian exercises, the participants are listed as CONR/Sectors. CONR stands for Continental U.S. NORAD Region, as in continental United States.

The hijacking exercise on November 6, 1999 involved China Air. It was a flight from LA to JFK, hijacked by five terrorists with the intention of crashing into the UN building.

China Airlines made that exact flight on May 30, 2016, just as they had many times before. It was China Airlines Flight 9612. It departed LAX at 3:26 PM and arrived at JFK at 11:45 PM.

NORAD patterned at least one of its training simulations after a real domestic flight. This was not a bomber flying in from Russia.

No one knows why NORAD lied. The lies were repeated in the mainstream media and in the 9/11 Commission Report. As I stated in my previous post, the Commission repeated the lie on page 17. They also repeated it on pages 346 and 352.

Page 346 states “since such aircraft would be coming from overseas, they would have time to identify the target and scramble interceptors.”

Page 352 states it very clearly: “NORAD’s planning scenarios occasionally considered the danger of hijacked aircraft being guided to American targets, but only aircraft that were coming from overseas.”

Some of the Commission members knew that wasn’t true.

They had a list of NORAD training exercises from 1998 to 2001. The pages were marked “Commission Sensitive”. There were 28 NORAD exercises listed. They were different from the ones listed in the Senate Hearing transcript. They were marked inside inside or outside inside, indicating the origins and destinations. Inside meant inside the U.S. and outside meant outside the U.S.

26 of the NORAD exercises involved a hijacking.

Six of the exercises were marked “inside inside”. That meant the simulated hijacked plane did not originate outside of the U.S. Its departure and destination was inside the U.S.

It’s not very often that you can document a lie by the government so thoroughly. It usually has to fall into the realm of “conspiracy theory”. People can then discredit your theory or try to.

They can’t discredit this documentation. I’m blogging about facts that can’t be discredited.

If the 9/11 Commission Report contains proven lies, everything in there can and should be suspect. It’s obvious that it was a flawed, rushed and underfunded investigation. It's obvious that is does not tell a full and truthful story.

As for the Vigilant Guardian exercise being held on September 11, 2001, the mainstream media didn’t report it. They certainly never questioned the coincidence that it was scheduled on 9/11 and there is evidence that it was originally scheduled for October.

The Commission Report mentioned the exercise in a tiny footnote: Chapter 1, footnote 116. According to General Eberhart, “it took about 30 seconds” to make the adjustment to the real-world situation.

Really, General, why would anyone believe you after you have been proven to be a liar? Some of your statements to the Commission on June 17, 2004 were proven false. As I said before, I have enormous respect for the members of the U.S. military, but not for some of the generals.

There were even more lies.

Some of the Commissioners concluded that the Pentagon deliberately lied about their response on 9/11. They debated the possibility of pursuing a criminal investigation.

Thomas Kean, co-chairman, said that NORAD told them a story that was far from the truth. He was talking about their response on 9/11, not the additional lies they told about their training.

The mainstream media did cover the assertions by Commissioners that they were lied to. No one knows why the Pentagon and NORAD lied. It would be speculation to offer an explanation. It would be speculation to suggest that they lied to cover-up their botched response to the attacks. They never admitted to anything.

Not even one fighter jet intercepted any of the hijacked planes. NORAD could be forgiven if they tried and failed. It’s the lies that can’t be forgiven or forgotten.

In 2012, NORAD named a building after General Eberhart, the commander of NORAD on 9/11. He was in charge on the day the buildings fell. Now he has a building named after him.

During my 9/11 studies, I noticed a pattern. Those who failed to keep us safe before and during 9/11 have been rewarded. Anyone who comes forward with uncomfortable facts is discredited, demoted and punished.
